This program offers you some of the most spectacular, varied and historically important sites in Turkey ranging from Istanbul "one of the worlds oldest cities and a centre of civilization for centuries" to "the ancient and now legendary city" of Troy. See the steepest of theatres in Pergamum; enjoy visiting Ephesus the largest Greco-Roman city of Turkey and discover the cultural centres of Ankara, capital city of Turkey. Languish in Antalya, the major city of the Anatolian Mediterranean and in Konya learn about the mystic Whirling Dervishes. Travel to the extraordinary limestone formations of Pamukkale and explore the underground cities and cave churches in Cappadocia. You will have the opportunity to interact with the locals, and experience first-hand their culture, cuisine, and traditions.

Whilst most of the program is spent in Anatolia, the larger Asian part of Turkey, time on the Gallipoli Peninsula and in Istanbul will be in the European part of the country known as Thrace. During entire tour program a local English speaking guide will accompany the group and your Odyssey Program Leader. Accommodation during the program will be in quality four star hotels with private facilities.
