Odyssey Travel is a not-for-profit organisation specialising in educational travel for the over 45s. We are made up of 25 member universities throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

We assist our member universities to satisfy their requirements for continuing education, life-long learning and community educational outreach programs for the over 45s market segment.

An Odyssey is a journey with a purpose or a peregrination in search of wisdom, truth and knowledge and an Ed-Venture is an educational experience. Hence Odyssey Ed-Ventures has been chosen to describe our programs.

These two words together epitomise Odyssey Travel's mission to provide educational programs to the over 45s market segment which will enhance their well-being and quality of life. We achieve this by enhancing travel experiences through learning by providing continuing education and lifelong learning for these special members of our communities in Australia and New Zealand. All over 45s are welcome, however some programs, because of their rigorous nature and for occupational health and safety reasons, are better suited to active mature adults.
